Stone age tools intro

1. What problems did people face in the stone age?

He lived in a forest with dangerous animals. They didn't have anything to protect themselves.
2. What food did they eat?
They ate fruits and raw flesh of animals, and roots.
3. What was used to hunt food?
Stones, bones.
4. what was difficult about using stones?
the stones were to heavy to throw far.
5. What did they do about this problem?
They shaped the stones, and make them more useful.
6. what kind of tool was used?
spears, axe, arrow knives, etc.
7. what type of tools could they make when adding wood and stones together?
they are used to kill animals, dig holes, used as piers, and creepers, e.t.c.
pickaxe was used to shape more stones.
8. What is an axe and pickaxe used for?
used for chopping trees and hard things and arrows, spears, e.t.c.

Science Experiment

In Science, we have been set a task to experiment with which metal has more and less rust on them. The metal that we tested was, Copper, Magnesium, Aluminium, and Nitrome, and wrapped these wires around an iron nail. We tested them with water and set them aside for 2 days. I think the metal with the least rust is Nitrome, and the metal with more rust will be magnesium in my opinion. 

Al and Mg are more reactive than Iron.

My SEEL Paragraph

I believe that most students are addicted to their cellphones. this is because I see other kids in my class always on their phone like 24/7 other than focusing on their school work. For example, I go home asking my mum if I can go to the park with my friends, waiting for her to reply, but her reply will always be "Oh what did u say". another example is that I always see other students in my school on their phone other than talking to each other. My final example is that when I go out with my friends to the mall, stay there for like 2 hours without even buying anything but just sit and go on their phone. This can also be linked to those people who are addicted to drugs & Alcohol.

Matariki

What is Matariki?

Matariki is the Maori name for the cluster of stars also known as the Pleiades. It rises in mid-winter and for many Maori, it heralds the start of a new year. Matariki literally means the 'eyes of God' (Mata Ariki) or 'little eyes' (Mata Riki).

Matariki is also known as The Seven Sisters. People celebrate Matariki by having a feast of kai.
