The name of the journal I was reading is called SHINE!. Published by Makerita Urale. The story title is the same title as the journal. The same person who published the journal.

This Journal is about six friends wanting to take their singing to the next level. With no experience in singing in front of a crowd, the decision to sing at a local diary before singing in front of a huge crowd. They then signed up for a competition (Cokesmokefreerockquest) they did well but they didn't place but they were still wanting to try and never give up.
