Tomorrow, When the war began. Ch 6

Chapter 6

What is the first sign that something is wrong at Ellie's house?
That their dog usually barks when theirs a car coming or someone, but there was no noise at all.
Who is the first person to really realize what is happening?
Ellie.
What is Ellie's reaction to this person's caution? Why do you think she reacts this way?
She instantly thinks that something bad has happened to the dogs. The reason I think she has reacted this way because things weren't the same when she arrives home at things have already been strange since the start of Chapter 3.
How is the pace in this chapter really different from the chapters before?
It's different because of how many ideas have been made in this Chapter and this is when the reader actual get hooked up into it.
If you were in this situation, would you test the radio or not? Give reasons for your thinking.
I don't think so really, as I hardly use radios. Also, somebody could be tracking it while I use it.
Do you think the way the teenagers reacted to the realization that Australia may have been invaded or at war was realistic?
I think in a way it could have been realistic like another country invading them or something. This might be something that will likely to happen if things stayed the same.
What possible reasons exist that could spark war or invasions of Australia?
That there were strange planes flying above them at a very strange time and area. And how things have gotten more strange when they have arrived home.
